This is a bug in the "peek" feature.

Strange... and question to ask at BlackBerry Experience.-img_20140603_085801.png

Oh, and that aside.. I'm at the BlackBerry experience. Question that I'd like to ask:

What are your plans to regain the business market?

Please feel free to post any questions that you'd like me to ask. :-)

That looks like a big cat not a bug.

    =D =D =D

And yeah, ask when the next 10.3 leak is coming out.

    =D =D =D

All kidding aside, I'd like to know when the native weather app is going to run headless. I know it's coming just want to know when.

And when will they make it possible to back up contacts the same way we do password keeper. That way I don't have all that private info on Google ---

And when I think of more I'll ask.

Ok, event over.. and I must say it was a great event. I got a chance to see the Q20 and an actually fully functioning Winamore. They are both VERY nice devices.

I did ask the question about the backup as to the passwords and basically what was there BBOS of past and was told that they are working on bringing it back.

    Key findings:
10.3 will be out in September
    10.3.1 will be out October
BlackBerry Classic. (Q20) will be out in October

Thoroughly enjoyed and not yet had a look through goodie bag.

    Mental pictures. LOL

We where advised that we electronically agreed to a data protection, and was told "that in the interest of BlackBerry, we are not to take photos". I respect BlackBerry and their privacy, especially if told.

One thing I. Must say though, the Q20 is a VERY sexy device. And the Winamore running 10.3 is just devine. Ofcourse, they also showcased other devices, to which I can't recall name (as I was too draw dropped on the Q20 (which is the BlackBerry Classic)).

It's slightly bigger to facilitate the row for the dedicated trackpad, send, BlackBerry key, etc.

It's also slightly wider, yet weighs also slightly less than the Q10. It's also chromed finished like the 9900.

I also forgot to add in the fixed feature, geotagging will be back in 10.3

Yes, that is the actually picture of the device. BUT, once you hold the device you will see how the size all makes sense and how 10.3 works with it. For one, that's a partial keyboard.. the rest comes up on the bottom of the device (just above where the physical keyboards are). The display also turns as your turn the device and then the keyboard becomes an almost trackpad like interface. It's really a great device.. oh, and did I mention how light it was. Very nice device.

If you are a physical keyboard lover, you will want this device.

If you are a trackpad lover, you will want this device.

If you are a old BlackBerry bold (shiny metal edge) lover, you will want this device.

I tick all those boxes, so I will 100% be flogging my Q10 for this device when it comes out in October.

Will BlackBerry try to bring some important native apps to BlackBerry 10 by giving some financial support like Microsoft. At least 50 percentage of top 50 apps. Though I will not use most of the apps, when I tell my friends to try BlackBerry 10 they ask me whether this app available that app available. When I say about android compatability, they say that might not work as good native apps. Also to increase their lineup of phones.

i hate the shiny metal edge, q10 looks a lot better with the black edge. also, not sure about the extra width either

Yes. IMHO I think a selling feature is the size of the screen. It's not a 5" display, but it's not a 3.5" display... it's just the right size and width. the weight is also quiet nice, and it flows great with BlackBerry 10.3

I held it but didn't type, as it was the developers key phone. But I saw it being demo and it was great. All that's on the physical keyboard are the letters, the other characters are on the touch keyboard which is just a click away.

In your opinion though is the phone ugly? Was it final design? I really want the phone but I want it to look nice... in person did it look nice? Also if you had to choose? Windermere or classic? And why(if you can comment) ?

I'm really looking forward to the classic, don't know if I will make the switch back to a qwertz-device, but I could imagine it's the perfect fit for my cousins husband. He still uses his bold 9780 cause he didn't like the Q10 without having tool-belt.

IMHO, the phone is not for me. I like a full keypad, so I'd go for the Q10 or Q20. Another reason why the phone is not for me is the size... as said, it's a 4" I think and it's a bit on the wide side. Despite this, it was rather thin and the whole design went well together.. but, it's not my personal style. In person it looked nice, the display was very crisp and the fonts well detailed... oh, and I can confirm that OS10.3 has brought back the lovely blue and not the red as seen in the beta.

Yes, it was the final design as it was in use my the designer, i'll mention his name soon when I get the programme for the event.

All in all its a great device just not for me.
