I made a video for my nephew, and tried to send it to his iOS device. Terrible experience.

iOS can't play MP4 without some long process of converting it to another format, then copy into iTunes, then sync over. Alternatively, use a special app on the device I downloaded from App Store to convert the file without having to use iTunes. Problem is I can't even save the MP4 from the Dropbox shared hyperlink I emailed to him on to the device

During my time trying to figure it out, I discovered I can't transfer files over via bluetooth or NFC. What a frustrating experience. Who knows what the future holds for bb, but one thing certain is that I could never buy an iOS device. Android or Windows for this geezer. Long live BlackBerry!

"Airdrop" will only be iOS to iOS, so wifi direct for apple devices only. And that's only in iOS7
