This is madenning as hell.

It's 2am, after watching youtube Russian dash cam vids, I shut browser & i'm ready to fall asleep, unplug headphones and set phone on night stand.

1 minute later, the OS10 music app on this phone begins to blare music and wake everyone in the house.

How have you guys conquered this stupid flaw in the OS ?

Has nothing to do with browser.

Anytime you unplug the headphones, it activates the music app automatically and it begins to play music that's in the app.

There are no settings to change, so yes it is a flaw.

It's not supposed to behave like that.

When you disconnect the headphones, it's supposed to pause anything that is already running.

If I had to guess... It sounds like for you, there is an issue that when the program isn't running, it can't complete the pause command.
As a result it's opening the music application, then completing the play/pause command. (which in your case, resumes music, since it was already quiet).

I'd say do some troubleshooting. See if different headsets cause the same error.
If you have bluetooth speakers, try connecting/ disconnecting them and see if you can replicate the problem.
Clean the headphone jack.
Try having the music application open, and paused and minimized in the background. Then open your browser and watch some videos. Then close the browser when the music application is still minimized to an active frame.
