I've been looking into getting me some NFC tags. Couldn't find any post on how to trigger the battery saving mode with a tag!?

Wouldn't that be great, at work you put the phone down and the CPU slows down etc (network stays on) when u don't need it anyway?

    Any work around known?

I thought flip to save power only switches off the screen (and/or connections too?), but doesn't actually work for many?

As said, I'd like to reduce the CPU speed when it's just snoozing there.

The cpu doesn't draw power unless it's working. Battery saving mode can be set to limit the cpu's maximum output under load, but that doesn't really help you much when it's idle.

If you still have an issue though, check your permissions settings... "Run in the background" and "Run when minimized" first

In my experience NFC seems to use very very little power just being switched on. In fact I saw no difference with it on.
If you use it to switch on and off wifi, Bluetooth, etc it could save you power, but not time as you have to unlock the phone each time to tap a tag.

Hit setting , go device manager, and then hit device monitor, appeared battery usage and long hold the app, will appeared close, hit the close, and the app will closed all the processed with it will be stopped . I found that location is "ON" mode, will causing drainage of battery power.

I have NFC on 24/7 and it's not even showing in battery usage section of -0.01%.
