I had side loaded we chat. And gotten a notification to upgrade package. So I did. And it download the package and then seem upgraded.

That would be pretty cool. I know it doesn't happen when you sideload Android apps on the PlayBook, so if it does with BB10 that's a big improvement.

I know we can sideload Android apps. But is it possible to also sideload native Blackberry apps too?

It just download and even showed the percentage, tried to install but did not do anything . It still is version 4.0. And the intended upgrade is version 4.5

Would be pretty cool if it could.

If you click upgrade, it will start downloading but also staring beeping and freeze the entire interface...at end none is updated...auto upgrading is not working here
