I'm looking for a setting where birthdays of my contacts are displayed in the calendar app. I've searched but haven't found anything...

    Thanks

I've uploaded all my contacts to Outlook.com/Hotmail.com. They automatically create a Birthday Calendar for you which syncs quite well with BB10. Email with Outlook.com/Hotmail.com also works flawlessly since it's Microsoft and they use ActiveSync.

If you used Facebook and your contacts enabled to show their calendar it will automatically added on your calendar.

just one point, you have to check if in the birthday field you have the full date including year.
I miss some birthday in my calendar because the date was not full, only month and day. I add the year and everything work well.

Turn synching of Facebook events to off. But of course every Facebook events won't be shown on your calendar.

I wonder that there is no setting that implements the birthdaydata from contacts directly into the calendar.

You have to include the full date including day, month, and year.

Need a third party service to transfer that info. OS7 didn't have this issue.
