    Is there some kind of a showcase mode like on the playbook that allows you to keep all apps running? I'm sick of going into the hub while watching a video and the video pausing especially when streaming locally and then having to wait to buffer again -.- can't it just continue to play in the background?

    If you are displaying your video via hdmi, DLNA or Miracast, you can use the "Play On" feature. It looks like a small box with a triangular "play" button on it. Tap on that and your video will play thru whichever output mode you've selected and you are free to use your phone for other things such as checking messages in the hub, all without pausing the video which will continue playing in the background.

    Why do you say "nope"? You can use the "Play On" feature like I described using either an hdmi cable or a Miracast device. Either way, you can play the video uninterrupted while using the phone.
