should Nintendo licence bb10?
They could make a wiiPhone and a wiiPad, reskin it to Nintendo, have RIM create the app store exclusive to their products. I think they could give Apple a run for their money because they have that same sort of mind share with people.

Re: should Nintendo licence bb10?
That would crazy. It could be like PlayStation phone Android. It might even be better if the figure it and really want to put some effort behind it.

I always thought that Nintendo and Apple would link up and create a console together. Microsoft is doing its thing, Sony is running with Android/Google, so that only left those two. Always thought it would work because of how the companies are similar...somewhat closed to third party developers and their latest products have always been cutting edge, game changers, and almost like pieces of artwork. Never had RIM in the console market...maybe computers...but not gaming.

No, Nintendo would not benefit RIM really.
But Sony, now there's a partner with some potential. Gaming? Check. TV's? Check. Auto? Check. E-Books? Check.
If Sony adopted BB 10, it would shake the entire industry because Sony is already big in a lot of areas that RIM would like to expand BB 10 intoThanked by:darkehawke (12-31-2012)

Zelda bb10 would be #1 on app world on day 1. Nintendo doesn't need to license qnx and make new hardware. People's living rooms are overloaded with consoles and media streaming devices. Nintendo should consider taking an approach like Sega or electronic arts. Sell the software on existing devices. Wouldn't you pay $20 for Mario Kart bb10 and play 8players on your playbook or mobile phone? Gamepad api has already gone gold!

Re: should Nintendo licence bb10?
The Nintendo Wii console in my house isn't used ever, even by the youngest kids it is tageted towards. Xbox is used the most (my three oldest kids each have their own), PS3 second (step sons share it on a TV). No one had any interest in a WiiU either this Christmas. Agree with a previous poster that Nintendo should migrate to software and away from hardware.

Nintendo are a joke tbh
i agree Sony would offer RIM more potential and vice versa.
Nintendo would probably damage BB10's reputation. - 01-01-2013, 11:01 AM #15
The only thing I would like Nintendo to do is release Pokemon Red & Blue for the platform. That is all.

Sony has big Android dreams and their upcoming Xperia is very exciting. They make some really good looking Android phones. So would leave them to continue their good work.
Nintendo idea I really like. While other platforms have rip offs, BB10 can have the real stuff.Time you enjoy wasting, was not wasted
