    I just got myself the z10. My iPhone is able to send very, very long SMS messages without the phone automatically changing and forcing it to be sent via MMS but I can't seem to get my Blackberry to do the same.

    Is this possible at all?

    BBM will do it. Sms cannot be made longer. Your iPhone was using iMessage to send long texts. They were not going as true sms

    Please check the phone of reciever in your phone.Just change the phone number from work to mobile in your contacts, you'll find SMS come back! I think that is a bug!

    Please check the phone of reciever in your phone.Just change the phone number from work to mobile in your contacts, you'll find SMS come back! I think that is a bug!

    No, there is no "bug". Sms has a 160 character limit. Period

    Most phones (since many years) are automatically cut too long sms in many sms-parts. And these phones are also able to receive such multi sms and reunite them.

    So the receiver will only see one long sms.

    Try this Hub>Settings>Text Messages>SMS tab>Advanced> Send Text-Only Messages as> SMS
