everytime I save a photo it defaults to saving it on the work profile. As such, I can't add the photo to BBM (because BBM is in the personal profile) Any advice?

BBM is a personal app only!

BlackBerry chose this due to the social nature of the application. Internally back in October last year they circumvented this bypassing their security model but they will not divulge how it was done. Until BlackBerry makes BBM for the Work profile you're out of luck. Or email the photo using a desktop or web based access to a personal account.

thanks but what i meant was how do i get the photos to start saving to my personal profile and not my work profile?

I lock out my Work when I need things to go into Personal locations, like screen captures.

On the main screen, pull down from the top and tap on the Briefcase icon. This locks the Work space. This is also another way to unlock the Work space as well.
