When working with these recent os leaks one doesn't always have the luxury of restoring all their backup data, application data in particular.

This isn't a big deal in general as with a few clicks and a wifi connection you can have your apps back on your device through app world.

Has anyone found a way to restore save games only back on a freshly wiped and updated devixe?

Can't do so without restoring all application data back. This issue first came up on the PlayBook and was very frustrating, especially when backups became broken.
