When I tap Rotation Lock then go into say the browser, and rotate to landscape, it will not stay in portrait. No matter what app I've tried the rotation lock with, it does not work. Am a missing a setting or something?

It should work. It doesn't "stick" after a reboot but it should work. Have you tried rebooting the device already?

Sure you aren't turning it off of rotation lock before flipping the phone on its' side?

I agree with checking this as well. The icon doesn't change and it should to match the state. That would make it more obvious when the option is engaged.

The icon changes to blue, if you press the icon. Pressing the word does nothing. Which could be what you are doing...

I have quite the opposite prblem, when I unlock the rotation lock, my phone always stays in portrait....as if it is still locked!!

Need a urgent fix!

K, I'm an ***** I guess. It works fine! I was tapping on the words "Rotation Lock" and the the drop down menu would disappear so i assumed it should be working. Tapping on the icon instead of the words was the problem, now the icon turns blue like you guys mentioned it should. Kind of weird I guess since tapping on the words in the other drop down menu options works. Thanks for your help!

Glad you solved it! Needs to be fixed.
Pressing any other word opens up the settings app for that word. Where as the icon turns it on off.
Rotation lock doesn't have any options so does nothing!

LOL that's funny. Glad you solved it. I have a quick question and maybe you guys can help. I don't have a z10 but can you swipe from the left and right edges to switch apps directly like on the playbook?

I just got my Z10 & am also not able to use Rotation lock as well on my Z10. The blue icon is off on the screen & still its not rotating.

Not everything supports rotating have that in mind. Like the homescreens. The hub does though.
