Hey here's a tad bit of info from Rogers Canada, I would say it's safe to assume the same for BELL and Telus as well.
Rogers expects 10.2 for customers soon!-img_00000003.png

It was originally expected in MID October.

Soon to me would be days, not two weeks.
Besides, its the 10.2.0.1767 release, which is currently available as a leak, why wait?

Without sounding like an *ss, but this has been the word for the past while now.

If i'm not mistaken there was even a front page post on it.

I'm still sitting on the .1743 leak and will wait until .1767 goes official. Not sure why, but just something about the "official" aspect of it, guess it's because I don't feel like manually restoring my phone after a leaked install. But that's just me.

I never gave that much credence to the notion that classical conditioning (Psychology term) could lead to an aversive reaction, but I have reassessed that opinion. Whenever I hear or see the word "soon", particular if it's paired with "Blackberry", I become nauseous. If that's not classical conditioning, I don't know what else is. LOL

The officialness does make it somehow better.
    I couldn't wait.

No, it was expected AFTER Oct 14th.
It COULD hit carriers as late as Dec '13.

Technically, they did not lie. There is ONE carrier that already released 10.2 officially for Z/Q10 devices. Robellus is just "testing" it still. Of course, Wind/Mobilcity are also doing the same.

They (assuming BlackBerry) said "expect 10.2 to arrive after Oct 14".

SFR will roll it out on Oct 22nd:

On the Rogers os upgrades page, it showed mid October as reported on a few blogs.
It has since been changed to late Oct.

I never suggested they lied, or that late Oct was an issue for me. I already have the update.

I was pointing out to the op that this wasn't news, and that there is no reason to get excited about a launch delay.

But carries have been testing since the gold SDK unless I'm wrong, I'm not sure about the US situation but for Canadian carries, they've been right on cue with their timelines. So if they say late Oct, I'll accept that as satisfactory until they make me think otherwise.

I see where everyone's skepticism comes from based on BlackBerry past when it comes to deal lines, dates and all that stuff...so it's very hard to swallow for everyone now days.
