I have upgraded my Z10 to 10.2.1 and everything seems to be working well except....

When I select "Remove from Hub and Server" when deleting an Email, the Emails are not removed from the server. This applies to Gmail, Yahoo and Outlook.com accounts.

Is this a known issue? I have waited a while to see if it's just a timing delay but that is not the case.

works exactly as it should for me. Just did 2 rounds of delete that way, refreshed on my webmail/desktop and they were GONE both times

Wait for the server to synch with the device. Might take longer if you choose the manual synch option.

This delete from server works as it is supposed to on my Gmail, yahoo and outlook accounts.

The "Delete" button is greyed out until I select one of the two options. Isn't it that way for you?

Thanks but that's not the issue, as I've left it overnight and the messages are still on the servers, but removed from Hub.

I understand the functionality on the iPhone (I have one myself). I was referring to the Gmail setup to work with BB10 devices specifically, since that was the original question.

Gmail/IMAP works differently than BB10. Sync setup is a little easier, there's an option for the delete on iPhone to either archive or delete. Also, delivery is not instant, as on BB10 devices.

True but all my BB OS7 devices work fine when I select Remove from Handheld and Server, the emails are removed from the server right away.

It will depend on how long your device is set to sync. Check your accounts, most ppl have it set to the default which I think is 30 min, update all my accounts to sync every 5 min.

I just checked my settings for each account on my Z10. They are all set to "Prompt". This includes Gmail, Yahoo! and Outlook.com accounts.

See that's the issue. Your account are set to prompt which means they are not going yo synch till u manually do it.

Set them to synch maybe once in 24 hours and see the deleted emails will be gone.

No that is just the setting to determine if I should be asked every time when deleting the email whether to delete from hub, hub and server rather than always using one or the other. That is what I prefer.
