Loved the interface on the Z30. The Passport? Not so much. To view the hour-by-hour area, and see all that empty space due to microscopic fonts...really poor use of space.

    And recommendations for alternatives?

I can't complain there, yes the space looks slightly wasted and fonts might be a tad bigger overall, but for my casual use, the default BlackBerry app is decent enough. However I've never seen how it looked on the Z30, only on the Q10.

It's mostly just bigger on the Z30. Probably smaller on the Passport because no one made adjustments for the increased resolution. The Z30 also had a timeline you could drag to dynamically change as the most time "passed". It was interesting and unique. Even an iPhone friend thought so.
But seriously a real waste of valuable space on the Passport.

BeWeather Pro is an awesome weather app, although I'm not a passport owner, so no idea how it'll play on that device...
