Is it Facebook didnt provide any API at all to BlackBerry to work on

    Or

Facebook discontinue older API that currently BlackBerry clinged on, but still providing updated API, if BlackBerry want to use it???

It's the latter. Facebook phased out old APIs and aren't making the new ones public. They're doing this to enable them to add additional functionality and security. Unfortunately, this is going to affect any OS that Facebook doesn't make a first-party app for - obviously BB is first among those but definitely not the only one.

But this is the kind of thing that happens with an OS that is no longer being developed and/or has a miniscule userbase - services and APIs change and it breaks things that used to work. This kind of thing is going to happen more and more on BB10 as time goes on. We've been talking about it happening for years, and now that BB has moved to Android and clearly ended BB10 development, you're starting to see it actually happen. But it's not a surprise or in any way unexpected. We saw all of this happen with WebOS, and before that WinMobile, and Symbian, and before that Palm OS.

The Internet isn't a static, stable thing - it's constantly evolving everywhere, which means that the OS and the apps must constantly be under development to remain compatible, not to mention add new features and functionality. BB10 hasn't been under development for a year already.

Facebook isn't providing any API's for outside use. The old ones are irrelevant if they don't work - nobody wants an inconsistent user experience when people are using Facebook even if it's someone else's app. They provide their own app experience and make money from their ads and user data. They assume that there aren't going to be any new BlackBerry 10 handsets so the users are going to dwindle pretty rapidly over the next couple of years.
