Would it be possible to bring up the keyboard on your blank home screen and type a search as you can with the fixed keyboard and use the keys for shortcuts. The personal assistance on bb10 isn't the best but using my bold 9000 is so much more convenient than swiping through the os. I know you might say buy a classic but I do love the flick typing on my z10.


Seems daft that we can bring up the keyboard with a two finger swiping movement and do nothing with it!

They haven't enabled universal search or shortcuts via VKB on homescreen yet, but maybe someday, just as its enabled in the browser. You can call up the BlackBerry Assistant by long pressing the mute button, which I find quite handy.
