Does anybody know why, suddenly, I got the strange issue with my Z10 Proximity Sensor?
When I try to make or answer a phone call, the screen doesn't turn off but if I put (close) the cover of my flip (cover) it responds, so it's only while making calls...
I tried Virtual Expert and it says both of the 'Illumination Sensor' as well as the 'Proximity Sensor' are missing. Really weird!
What can I do?

Flipcovers (like the original pouches) usually use magnets to put the device to sleep, so this working is no hint to a functioning prox. sensor.
As the App suggests, i think yours is somehow dead.

I have same problem on my z10 after update.

I have noticed a similar issue with my passport.

If I put the phone to my ear as soon as I press call then the screen will not switch off. If I wait until the screen changes to show the in call options and then put the phone to my ear it works.

Just try waiting a couple of seconds before putting the phone to your ear and report back if it works.
