What are your email sync intervals and the reasons behind it? Personally i set mine to 5 mins with push enabled because I want my emails to come through asap but i am wondering if 5 mins interval is required with push already enabled. Vote away!!!

4 hours on important email addresses and 25 on others. I found my battery died fast due to syncing when I had if set for 5 mins - 1 hour.

Using ActiveSync with push, so there is no synch interval. Email arrives on my device right after it hits my mailbox, and battery life is about in par with others (as in it could be better but is ok)

If your server supports push mode then it seems that sync interval has no effect, since the phone is already connected to the server anyway. I have observed no change in behavior if I set sync interval to manual or 5 minutes for my IMAP email.

Mines set at 1/2 hour for my personal account, and my work active sync account is set on push. No rush for my personals, anyone of importance to me, knows to BBM me if it's semi urgent.

Sync interval has nothing to do with the frequency of receiving new emails. Sync is about the frequency of checking for changes in your folder structure (if you move emails out of your inbox, for example) and for changes in your contact list and calendar. If changes are found then the device is synced.

There have been reports of increased battery life by reducing the sync frequency.

24 hours for all 6 accounts. Mixture of EAS and IMAP push. Since all 6 accounts support push the sync interval is not used. On average, I get emails in 6 seconds or less from all accounts.

I do get calendar updates quickly as well with 24 hour setting. Also if I move messages to other folders. Not sure so will have to test new folder creation.
