I get these every day but when I try to click on them and fix them I get this error

Please ignore the last pic. That what I got when my BBM subscription didn't renew for so.e reason. Didn't mean to post that pic and tried to remove it




Does anyone know why this keeps happening?

The account needed request is something that happens when you use an autoloader to load a new OS and then do a full restore of your device. Delete the accounts and re-install them and it should go away.

What if I no longer want to use the account? Does one just get these forever? A couple of them I don't even k of what they are. It's asking me for password of email accounts already set up and working. I click to fix it I get that error.

All I did was security wipe then updated through Verizon.

Just download "Accounts Cleaner" from bbw.

That won't help. The problem is residual "phantom" accounts that can't be deleted. That's what Accounts Cleaner app was designed for.

Running this app is as easy as pie for me because I came here and asked someone and someone was nice enough to reply. Thanks

What if I'm just a Joe schmoe and have no idea how to get rid of this and how would the average person figure this out? I guess they would call Verizon which would tell them to get this app?

Kinda nuts. I didn't do a full restore only my contacts/ calander. I have done two security wipes to see these "Phantom accouts" come back.

Anyone know how the carrier would handle my problem?

This phone has never had a leaked OS. My other BlackBerry Z10 I have messed with leaks a little.

My Z30 is 100% Verizon Wireless software.


Still wondering if I should just delete these or edit them.

Using accounts cleaner takes a bit of thinking.

First of all, the reason you see all these accounts is because you didn't restore your apps, but for some reason the login tokens did restore or were never probably deleted.

Go through the accounts cleaner and try deleting the ones which seem like they are from apps that aren't on your phone anymore.

When you click on an account it will give you some info about it. Try to reason with that info
