A few times I have noticed a "Play" icon next to the battery indicator. It seems to get stuck there until I reboot. Has any one else seen this and have some idea of what it might be?

Nope, never had this issue. It only goes up there if I'm playing music or listening to a YouTube video in the background. Next time, close all your apps and turn up the volume. If it is indeed playing something, it will pop up on screen along with play/pause, next/previous

All apps are closed. Nothing is playing. The icon is there. Looks like a bug...

Could be a good idea if you gave us some more details, when do you get it? was after playing a video? music? something so far i have not seen it

I noticed that if I initiate the voice control, then close right away, I get the play icon stuck there. I had to reboot as well.

I literally just spent 5 minutes purposely trying to get the play icon stuck by initiating voice control and dismissing it as quickly as I can. Still can't do it. I've never had the play icon stick when nothing was playing.

It is definitely after using voice control. I just did a battery swap and shortly I used voice dictation and the Play icon is now stuck.

I was then able to clear the notification by using voice control again but to add a new appointment rather than using it for dictation.

I know this post is a little old.

But i also get this too.

Latest OS available to me. (10.1.0.4633)

I just glanced down at my phone and i have the play icon stuck too. However i hadn't touched my phone.



No live applications and no tiles etc.

Very strange. Restart removed it.

I have gotten it also. Mine will give a slow almost sonar beep. Then I will have to Do a restart. Drove me crazy the first time I heard the sonar sound, couldn't figure out where it was comings from. Never dreamed it was my phone.

I have had this problem multiple times. I notice it happens when I am checking my phone after removing it from the holster. Maybe I am grabbing the phone in a way to activate the voice control and it gets stuck because I do not have any active frames and I can hear the sonar sound of the voice control every few seconds. Only way to fix it for me is to reboot the phone. Looks like a bug with the latest 10.1 software. Z10STL100-3/10.1.0.4633
