I have most of my pictures and videos stored on a 64GB micro SD card. When I open some of them, the pictures are either scrambled, offset, or missing all together. The videos either do not open or only play so far. This does not happen with all pictures and videos. Is anyone else having similar issues?

Had this issue quite a while ago. It was a faulty media card. Pictures looked very scrambled and video would stop and go at random.

I paid a lot of money for this memory card. That sucks. I've tried copying everything off of the card back to the desktop on my PC (which by the way everything worked there perfectly) and reformatted the card in the phone. Now I have reloaded everything back on the card to test it out. Maybe it will work, but it's the first time that has ever happened to me, and I have bought some cheap memory cards in my time. Thanks for the heads up.

Yep same here. First time was a 64GB card. Try taking some pics and videos without the card installed, that way you can rule it out as the culprit.

Do you recommend SanDisk over Kingston? I've used Kingston for years without issue until now. I was going to use the SanDisk Extreme Plus to see if there is any improvement.

Kingston is coincidentally the one I had that messed up. I have a Lexar now with no issues yet.

That says it all, then. Guess they got a little cheaper over the years. I'll be looking into another brand. Thanks.

I definitely recommend SanDisk. I've never ever had problems with it, so all my flash cards (i.e., USB, SD, microSD) are from SanDisk. Just be sure to buy from a trusted seller, so that you don't get a counterfeit.

32kb? I'll have to give that a shot, but given that so many of my pictures were damaged and video files corrupted (along with song files garbling in spots) I agree that the card is a complete turd.
