Hello,

I have been having problems, including can't take calls or make any or check my voicemail after attempting the MR update, it never actually finished working, i tried many times. also the calendar doest work, my battery lasts 30 mins now and the phone gets so hot.
my phone is now basically pointless, can someone walk me through how to fix the issues.

Have you security wipe the phone that will fix everything?? As for the heating that's normal...

before i do a security wipe, should i back up to blackberry link?

it gets so hot it turns off randomly and it freezes, the battery sometimes lasts all day, but when it does get this hot, it only lasts 30 mins.

btw it is a z10

I discovered on the BlackBerry help site that this could be caused by the update os not properly installing the OS and radio os versions.

Go to settings, about, os version should be something like 10.1.0.4633 and the radio version should be 10.1
.0.4634. The important thing, apparently, is that the OS version and the radio os version be only one number apart. If this isn't the case then it seems you must do a complete reinstall. Note that the OS version and radio os version numbers are distinct from the release number, which us likely 10.1.0.4181.
