For me I noticed for long time with OS10 (Z10 and Q10) that overheating means battery drain. I was fighting it for long time. Whenever my BlackBerry is cold and I am very sure that it will carry me whole day. My day starts from 5am and sometimes to 1-2am.

With new OS update pushed to my ATT Passport, on 2nd and 3rd my cell phone was overheating again. Especially on the top right corner. It was a nightmare! Battery lasted only a few hours. Luckily after several sim card pull and hard resetting, restarting, the phone is back to normal. Wow! Don't know what happened. ATT does not give me an option to downgrade to 2G/3G. When LTD is shown on the top right, it surely increase the chance of overheating.

Anybody has the same experience?

A lot of us had poor battery life and warm phones for the few days, across all models from the looks of it, probably just the OS sorting itself out

Normal thing unfortunately. Sooner or later it will be back for you same way as you say it was for your Z10. Nothing you can do I'm afraid unless you get that option to turn off LTE.

had the overheating problem for many weeks, BB replaced my password, still same issue, finally told me to reset the device, now it's gone, could not tell the reason, i still use the same apps(reinstalled).

My Passport would also overheat from time to time and I think the android runtime and especially the amazon app store caused this problem. I try to avoid it until the next major update.
