I bought a Passport yesterday, it's perfect! I also have a well worn Z10 that I used in the garage and at work without worry.

Is there maybe a way I can "bridge" or is there any insight if Blend could be used in the future on the Z10 to the Passport so I could use the Z10 as a PlayBook would on Bridge?

Just wondering if I could keep using the Z10 as a flashlight, camera, and without a sim, for sms, bbm, quick internet search on how to remove grimey stuff while under the car and junk while the Passport sits on a pillow .

No biggie, but it would be nice to use, "In the field," I guess.

Might be easier to just implement wifi there lol

If I'm working and using the phone a lot, I could just swap the sim but would be easiest to use the PlayBook for the bridge sms feature. Was more interested if I could use the Z10 instead but the PB does the job and not too bad to clean oil and grit off too.

Passport is of course new, but my Z10 is from a pawn shop. I like keeping things pristine but also the freedom of a pre-worn beater device .

Why not encase the PB into plastic wrap or something to keep the dirt off?

well I mean, there's no keys per say that you need to press and the screen will recognize your finger swipes and what not with just plastic wrap

Passport works great through the name tag holder. I've used the PB for manuals and scans tho too
