    This happens only when I'm texting someone I haven't texted before or in a while. It will lag and not give me the option to text anyone else untill it's sent which can take up to a minute and a half... Hardware or software issue? I'm running the latest official OS release.

    Some people have had luck changing SMS from circuit switched to packet switched to solve this. Might be worth a try.

    Hub-->vertical dots-->Settings-->Text Messages-->Advanced.
