Hi all,
Is there a setting to have BB 10 organize the pictures and videos into sub-folders? Or maybe an app? For example, all the media from today (2016-01-13) goes into a folder named 2016-01-13 (or something similar). I looked around but couldn't find a forum post regarding this. Any suggestions?

Nope. No such setting.

All you can do is tell it whether you want pics and videos saved to a media card (an SD card if one is installed), or not. The phone creates the "camera" folder in each location on its own.

Screen shots are saved to the internal memory "camera" folder by default, and that can't be changed.

I would rather recommend to organize files (pics, videos, music, docs etc) on your computer.

You can use a sc card (not encrypted), with USB mass storage mode it's just simple drag&drop for each (main) folder.
In a second step you could move some (sub-) folders from the sd card to the internal device memory (encrypted).

If you are managing several 1000 files, it is easier this way imho.
