I'm wondering how may BB10 devices in the U.S. are actual AT&T branded devices.

Of those, how many were updated beyond AT&T's official version (like mine - I'm actually on 2876).

Point is, nothing - not even AT&T - is stopping anyone from using an OS version newer than the carrier's own official version.

The real reason the official OS for AT&T BlackBerry 10 phones is so old?
