Pretty FRIGGING pathetic the "dip - drab" of OS 10.3.1.+++ for a company trying to revive itself. Really sucks.

Clearly, they are focused on their new hardware (selling it), so, they are giving those new sales, and their marketability, the priority for OS efforts. It's beginning to feel more and more like "Playbook" deja vu... Just don't say anything (or make all kinds of promises with no intention of following through...remember...?) and blow us Blackberry owners with older units, off.

I have a Q10, and since it is just a "nano-hair" less than the Classic specs, I just do not understand WHY it has not been updated, except, that it is being ignored and blown off. Btw, I purchased it from Sprint, and since they no longer sell any Blackberrys, they will absolutely do NOTHING to help me. Another, layer of why having a Blackberry is beginning to be more trouble than it is worth. VERY irritating.

Anyone know something I have not been able to unearth...? And, I do not really want to go the "leaked" route..., unless..., Blackberry is truly not going to put any effort into the Q10...

I still days later haven't had the chance. I literally can't sit down to my PC for an hour lately. But if I ever get it done before the "official " release comes, I will post up especially if I have problems you might want to avoid.

Ok I did it. Working very well indeed. I have added functionality with Talk2watch Pro and my Pebble, I'm liking the new camera interface and the ability to resize Android apps. (plus many more things. )

And my battery life is still quite good. It took about 3 hrs to complete the whole process though for me.

My thoughts are instead of phoning them, find an email address for someone senior and send the email. That way you have written evidence to back you up.
Or I'm not sure how it works in your part of the world, but here in Australia we have an Ombudsman which is a government appointed person or department that handles complaints or issues relating to the department they deal with. For example... the Telecommunications Ombudsman for this stuff, if our telco is shafting us, we make a call, then if not happy, we call again and ask to escalate it in which case they should be putting us in contact with someone senior who should actually do somehow or at least advise of the status.
If they still fail to help, we contact the Ombudsman and give them the details and what solution would satisfy your needs. Trying not to be greedy or unreasonable we state the minimum we would accept to satisfy our needs. Trying to be fair and reasonable will always work best. They usually put us in contact with someone important in the telco company who they deal direct with and who can help resolve the issue. From there the issue is usually resolved very quickly, and depending on what the issue is, they may offer some form of compensation. I actually scored 5 months free once thanks to a mix up on their claims and the models that were eligible for the freebies.
If you have anything similar where you are, then I suggest you consider checking out what sort of help they can offer, hopefully all that's needed.

Well, it is clear, Verizon does not care. They haven't in years. Although I guess they did jump the other carriers a while back releasing some OS before others. But that is rare!
