I've read the article about the official 10.2 coming next month. So how wil this work on leaked versions? Does it update to official or do we need to renstal 10.1 again and then update?

You will notice a new official version. Nothing interesting

My z10 updated to the official 10.1 tmobile update from a leaked 10.1 build. I think that as long as the official build is higher than the leaked one, there shouldn't be a problem with the ota update

You can OTA update to 10.2 if your carrier is pushing it. If, though, you install a newer leak than the carrier is pushing, then you won't be given any notifications as it would be a downgrade.

And how would downgrading work? Wipe and ota update? If the official 10.2 happens to be a lower version.

I think as long as your version is a lower version than the carrier's version, you will get a notification. If not, then you will not get a notification. That's how the 10.1 roll out worked.

To downgrade to the carrier release, run an autoloader for a version lower than what the carrier is pushing out. Or find the autoloader for what the carrier is pushing out, if we manage to get it before they release it.

Will the official update also overwrite any leaked runtime?

No, install older version. Then ota update. (Wipe retains same version you installed.)
