Is it possible that the assistant does not, or cannot search within pdf files? I'd like to put a larger number of those on my sd card to have them available on the road. I tried it with just a few, but the assistant doesn't find anything (except the file name). The files I'm using are 'searchable'; Windows is able to look through the contents without any problems.

In order for getting proper search performance content must be indexed.

I don't think OS 10 indexes content of files in the file system.
Can you search for PDF content if the same file is attacted to an email in your inbox (HUB)?

Did some testing. I guess I was too optimistic when I hoped the machine would also search within documents. Email content is being searched, but attachments aren't. Neither are documents - except for their name - that are saved on the device or the sd card.

Well, too bad...
