It doesn't look like Rogers is going to make a BlackBerry 10 App for Rogers Wireless users to use when it becomes available on Oct 8th. I received an email today from Rogers asking me to sign up for a free subscription until Dec. 31st. After signing up, it said the app would only be available on the 'BIG 2' platforms. No mention of it being available for download on BlackBerry World.

That really sucks!!! Rogers should be supporting BlackBerry 10.

Hopefully we will be able to port it using Snap.

I used the BB10 Gamecenter app last year and loved it. Although not on Rogers, I shouldn't need to be either. NHL is for all fans and I shouldn't be held hostage by the service provider. But I am really not happy with Rogers for not supporting BB10. I will be calling them. On hold too long last time I tried. Bell Media and TSN are the same. It is really sad that two massive companies like Rogers and Bell can't support BlackBerry! And I certainly plan to let the NHL and Rogers know how I feel.

    Z30 Rocks!

You may have to wait until the service starts and see if you can just log into the website and stream via flash.

I subscribed to the BNN streaming and even though BlackBerry is not shown as supported, both my PlayBook and Q10 will log into the BNN stream and play it. I dropped cable and went over the air for the Canadian Network Television channels. Using a PlayBook via an HDMI cable into the TV I can stream BNN and a couple other paid streams.

Stupid rogers! You can log in through the browser on nhl.com though. I find it irritating that there is a separate login for myrogers, so you can't login on different apps or devices. I want to use this on XBOX but it's browser sucks.

Works well on my Rogers BlackBerry Z30 using the Android NHL Game Centre app that I updated using Snap today. When I start the app "Powered By Rogers" displays on the bottom of the main Splash Screen. I logged on using "my Rogers" login and all works great. Can switch to several camera views too!

    BTW I'm using 10.3.

I can sign in OK and get to the watch screen for the game. Select watch and get a black screen. I was hoping that Rogers thought I was "in market" but no such luck. I am running 10.2.1.

Just tried with my Z10 running the 10.3 leak and the app works just fine. Gonna wait for the official 10.3 before trying again with my Z30. Using 10.2.1 right now.

I was using the most recent android app until I discovered I could still get the old app from bbw by going to my world and downloading it from the "available" section.

It is absolutely unbelievable how much better the native app is! I know it doesn't have as many features and live video doesn't work but it runs so much smoother and is much easier to navigate!

So rogers doesn't carry z30 at launch and now doesn't make a native BlackBerry App. Why the hate for their fellow Canadians?

I wish someone could extract the bar file for the native app.. I hate the way the android version needs access to my shared files for it to work...

    Where is the BB10 support?

Makes me wonder why we even have Android runtime on our devices if many Android apps won't function on our BlackBerry services as intended.

I say either go to full functionality rather than the current compatibility or scrap it altogether. Can't tell you how many ANDROID apps I've installed that won't function as intended.

My Nhl powered by rogers works perfectly. Got off 1market and video works with no issue. Actually was showing an iPhone user friend of mine because he wanted to ensure it worked. Let me tell you it looks better than on his phone. The width is the difference.

    Not one issue. Awesome.

Using the android app on the z10 and z30 you will be able to rotate the device to get full screen, then through hdmi or miracast it will play full screen on a tv, but for q10, q5 and passport it will not play full screen on a tv.

Bah...that's really unfortunate. I was hoping I could get a subscription to either GCL or Hockey Streams and just output it on my phone.

If you can get video to play through a web browser, then you may be able to take advantage of the playon feature for full screen play from the q10 or Passport
