magnification setting, drag two fingers from the top downward to get back to normal view.

My apologies I did not view the image close enough. That is very strange indeed.

Has happened several times, always when taking out of the holster.
Nothing resolves it except a reboot.Thorsten Heins: "We have a clear shot at being the No. 3 platform in the market" - 09/25/2012 - 02-27-2013, 06:29 AM #12
Happens to mine regularly too. the first time I did a battery pull. it usually happens if i'm in an app that has landscape and portrait (browser for example) and I am in landscape mode when I exit or swipe out to multitask. Swiping works as if all the icons where they should be ( i.e you can still access the hub with the usual gesture from the bottom, though the hub view is only shown on the top half of the screen) I found that going back into the app and turning it to portrait before exiting usually fixes it.

This was reported to BlackBerry (via their support forums) the first weekend the device was available.
Hopefully they can identify and fix the problem.Thorsten Heins: "We have a clear shot at being the No. 3 platform in the market" - 09/25/2012 - 02-27-2013, 07:37 AM #15
there have been a few screen bugs ... first time i have seen this one, but i have had.. no password field appearing after swiping lock screen up... and only way to fix this is reboot.. and a black screen appears during a call and only restart fixes. the call is disconnected and the only thing u can see is the time and date banner... and you cant go back or nything.. i hope an update comes out sooon to fix these!!

Interesting, the PlayBook did that occasionally (rarely) as well when waking up the screen, though I haven't seen it happen since the last update. Only a restart would fix.

Happened to me once. I think I'd been watching a video in landscape and it had hung and when I went back to portrait it did this.
So far, only one instance.

I've had that happen before on Playbook a couple of times (maybe twice) but not sure what did it exactly. Seemed to be a weird combination of me locking the device, launching a portrait oriented app, then quitting that app. But I couldn't replicate it.
