I would really like to see bb10 develop a swipe initiated text reader. There are so my times that I'd love to put the phone down and just listen to a blog/article/email/ebook in one touch...without copying and pasting a 100-some character limit in a non-native app. this seems so obvious which leads me to believe it already exists... or does it? If not... what the bleep?

Honestly, I use the screen reader in 10.2 for this sometimes, a little more optimization and it will be perfect for this.

You know what that's not half bad. Didn't even know. But ur right a bit more ease and optimization would make it very useful.

Tap the power/lock button three times to turn it on. Do it again to shut it off. Single tap something on the screen to hear a description, double tap to activate. Some things like scrolling a page won't work unless you use Space/Shift+Space.

You can change its settings in Settings > Accessibility > Screen Reader BETA.

I'd like a native de-dup in the contact app that works in both personal and work spaces merging multiple contacts, eliminate duplicate entries within a contact, and preserves after upgrades, while not confusing my blue tooth car voice dialing.

    Too much to ask?

I would love a way to "play" hub items like listening to voicemails. Would be uber slick to have a "Read" item on the long-press menu that slides in when holding down on a hub item.

Screen reader is cool but still requires you to open the email and click on the text that you want read. Doesn't start reading through the email on its own without you clicking around. Clicking "play" to read the body of the message (since you've visually scanned the sender and subject thanks to HUB) would be a good way to limit distraction in the car or elsewhere.
