The name is easy, non-conventional, and "BlackBerry Ia" sounds smooth. It's also a name that could easily be transferable throughout all BlackBerry regions.

That wouldn't work at all. People in other countries would have so much trouble pronouncing that clearly, especially up in canada, ay.

I think I posted this almost 2 years ago, but I think they should go with the option for the user to name it. Similar to Siri's 'call me' command as seen here (which I also think should be added) but to teach it it's own name.. "i'll call you.. Julie'

Could it be, the CB community has lost its collective mind? Why the obsession over naming it? Assuming you're more than 15 years old, won't it get pretty lame pretty quickly, to call out the name ("Jarvis", for example) in public?

If it's going to be voice activated, it would seem more user friendly to have a customizable name/phrase, rather than the same activation phrase for all BB10 devices? It's not a particular concern right now, but I'd hate to have someone else accidentally voice activate my device.

If you hate your blackberry but you're forced to use it, then call it "X" (who doesn't hate their ex's)
