    I keep hearing a chime sounding notification on my passport every few hours. Depending on how loud I have the volume set to, it ranges from slightly annoying to startling the hell out of me.

    Is there a way I can find out which apps are making sounds so I can turn it off?

    You can check all of your app notification settings in Settings --> Notifications --> 'nameofprofile' (usually Normal) --> Customize App Notifications

    Thanks, no facebook messenger installed, checked out custom app profiles (turned off notifications for most apps) but I still here the sound from time to time and don't see any yellow bell (unread icon) notifications in the hub. Very weird!

    Do you chance have ebay, ebay gives you a notification when a sale you are watching changes.

    No its not a sound I've heard before. The few android apps I have installed I have disabled notifications

    What about a notification of an NFC connection? Or Bluetooth transfer? Try switch them off.
