I found this article about iOS6 and iOS7 to be interesting. Has anyone else heard that there are serious issues with iPhones GPS flaws? Why is this not more prevalent in the news?

No but I can say that with all my complaints about the release and progress of the Z10, it has the best gps I've ever had. I sold my tom tom because of it.

I know my brother's new iPhone suffers from this, plus there are map issues!! He sent me a screen shot showing that my address is located at the end of a runway at a small airport over a mile west of me.

The article is about Magnetic North, not True North, and about the magnetometer not the GPS.

    My GPS has been AMAZING.
Took me on a 1500km trip over the summer with NO PROBLEMS whatsoever.
BlackBerry Maps was my best friend during the trip. Absolutely loved it and was extremely impressed.

Doesn't seem special compared to other systems. I've had times when it couldn't find a satellite on BlackBerry and many other platforms. I wonder if it's a physical thing regarding where I live.

^^nuke99 S4 GPS doesn't work that great for me. It's not bad, it just doesn't connect when I really need it. I'm thinking of going Garmin or something.

That's the problem with Google Map. It requires a mobile plan. Therefore I do depend on both s4, and my car gps. For different situations.

Best signal is still in dash gps. The garmin type gps is often interfered by our windshield film.

Try Osmand on BB10/ Android. It's a free offline GPS app. It's probably not going to be a full time GPS app but its for you when there's no data and no close gas station, at least you have a map. I haven't used turn by turn yet. BB10 version works well, isn't slow or anything.
