Is there a way I can tell the music player to leave my f*cking audio books alone? When ever I have random selected, it will end up choosing an audio book at some point. All my music is in my SD/music folder, but there doesn't seem to be a way to tell the music player to stick to a folder. It seems to be smart enough to leave my podcasts along though.... This seems like a case of the music player team not dog fooding.

Create a file called ".nomedia" (without the quotes" in the directory that you don't want the music player to search.

You can use Baamboo Player, it supports organizing and playing songs in folders and allow you to exclude folders that you don't want to be loaded.

I read somewhere on CB: put files you don't want played as music in the "voice" folder. That worked for me with ringtones.

This is the actually solution. Use a computer, not the BlackBerry device to do it.

This works. For audio books, what happens if you put them in the Books folder?

The same that happens if you put them in any other folder.
