    Hi all,

I moved my 5 BBM contacts from my Q10 to my Z30 this morning with my original BB ID. Now I want to send out invotes on my Q10 to my same BBM contacts but I kow I have to set up a new BB ID. Do I go in and edit my current information on the Q10 and set up a new email address at some place.

I have most my apps moved to the Z30 that I want to move over.

Do I need to back anything up first or just enter the new BBID information?

You may only have one single BBID associated with a BB device. If you wanted to change your BBID, you would have to wipe the device first.
Also, a BBM account is associated to a particular BBID. A new BBID means an entirely new BBM account.

Are you intending on using both devices? If so, use Link to Backup the Q10, then Security Wipe it. During setup after this is done, create a new BBID.
WARNING: you might not be able to Restore anything to Q10 after it has a new BBID. Link might not allow it.

Yes I want to use both devices since I am paying for my Q10 on Sprint.

So I cant just enter the new information in the BB ID spot?

Looks like I will have to wipe it tonight and start fresh so I can load my BBM contacts on the Q10.

I backed it up last night on link and then hit the tab to link with outlook and my gosh it screwed up all my contacts and added multiple contacts.

Something so simple and it is so F'ed UP!!!!!!
