Hi everyone, I have plans of migrating a number of users over to bb10 on the BES10 and am wondering best way to move the bbm contacts? Is there the possibility of backing up the bbm contacts to the media card and import to the z10? Will it read the file? Ive read that you can switch devices using Link but need to migrate 50 devices and would rather not. Thank you.

i don't know since I'm in the usa and don't have one yet but you can back up your info via bbprotect as well as your contacts with your bbid or the email you use for bb10. Then I would assume on the bb10 BBM we can enter that email and get our stuff back on BBM.

BBM is now linked with your BlackBerry ID So as soon as you enter that in they should just transfer to your new BB10 device.

How To Restore Backup of bbm contacts From BB 9900 To Z10 ???
plzzzz help....im tryin since long time to transfer but its not happening...
getting frustrated now....
BBM contacts n groups...not address book (phone number)
i hv restored all other data like calendar, phonebook, etc.... but not able to restore BBM contacts n groups..

if your users were on OS7.0 and above before, migrating their BBM contact is a breeze.

all they have to do is log into BB10 with their BBID and the BBM contact populates in a few seconds
