Or maybe I'm stupid and missing something so feel free to call me out on it.

Can you no longer create a calendar reminder down to the minute?

I used this all the time in BBOS for bus/subway routes, and also, oh I don't know....airplane flights!

Blargh. It does a weird thing, at least on the q10s, where you can click on the date for an even to start, and manually type one in, say 10/22 and it recognizes it, same for the hour (sometimes and doesn't save), but when you try to do that on the minute, no dice.

Looks like At Start then 5 mins next. Don't remember if you could go to a minute before. Doesn't seem to be there now in Calendar.

You could do to a minute in BBOS, meaning you never had to create a calendar invite in Outlook if you needed to be precise.

Yes and I guess it's annoying too that you can't type in the time to set for your calendar item. I miss that too. I used to like putting in odd times, like golf tee offs. Now they are all rounded to 5mins. I have to put the real time in my subject.

5 minutes at this point I believe. I know the 10.2 leak added a VERY cool bar across the top that allows for much faster selecting of the time (for me). Or maybe this was added in 10.1?? Anywhere here that is:

Does that bar allow you to select down to the minute?

No the bar increments/decrements 15 mins per "move". But it is a lot easier to use for me than the little HH:MM controls that most calendar apps use.

5 mins is the minimum far as I can tell.

I feel this is -- perhaps -- one of the issues with design for an all touch optimized operating system, or at least an issue with the BB10 implementation in its initial form. The lack of the precise ability to easily select on-screen controls leads to these types of design limitations/shortcuts, perhaps...

Shouldn't have to though. I brought up the keyboard over the time range controls and typed "11" etc. and it ignores the input.

Oversight? Laziness? Who knows. But yeah they should allow 1 min settings. If you edit using a web browser on Google Cal, there are pre-filled drop downs that default to something like 15 or 30 minute intervals, but you can type in and save smaller interval values.

There are many many things that were rushed out and will change through 10.3 and 10.4 if ummm.. we make it there. For having so few employees compared to the other conglomerates, BlackBerry has their hands full trying to perfect the enterprise side of things as well.. So many things to do and only 24hrs in a day

Tee times, flights, subway schedules. It's not that 5 minutes isn't close enough, it's just another oversight and feature they left out from BBOS.

My BlackBerry used to be the only device I actually needed during the day. Now, I have to rely on Outlook because BB10 again cannot do something BBOS did for years.

And with several of my other posts, I'm not trying to be an elitist or something, I'm just continually dissapointed when they decide to leave staple features out of their new and improved, amazing OS. It's disheartening for an avid BlackBerry user.

I've spent the last month moving from Nokia to Blackberry. Learning how to sync contacts and calendars across, side loading apps, moving music, buying satnav apps, there's a lot to do. And now I find the calendar won't let me enter train times accurately as calendar items. I can't believe it. And buying all the third party calendar apps in the store does not help.
