When I send a picture over text message to my girlfriend or her sister, it is very blurry but when I email it there is no problem.

My friend with an S3 sent me an image 1200x1600, I saved it on my phone and checked on my computer and it kept the resolution, but when I sent it back to him, or sent him a different one, they were both 640x480. It seems my Z10 sends it as smaller files but not sure why.

Does anyone have an idea as to why the image is blurry or a lower resolution? I can't seem to find any settings to help

I've always thought MMS compression was a carrier controlled thing...
That's what I've always believed. Hopefully someone can give you a better answer.

But there's plenty of other ways to send pictures that are just as easy.

My girlfriend and her sister are on Rogers with their iPhones. My android friend is on Rogers with his S3, but he has a friend with a Curve on Bell who sent him a MMS and it was received as 1280x960, but when I send them it's 640x480
