Fair criticism would be against Adobe in my opinion. They dropped the ball with mobile flash a long time ago.

You're way off base and coming across as a mindless apologist. From a user's perspective, the ability to use many popular websites has been taken away by 10.3.1. It's really as simple as that. Since I upgraded, I can't use Ticketmaster and access certain content on my favorite news websites. What did I get in return? Better optimized code? Another BS decision by a dying company.

Flash was one of the advantages of BB10 browser on the competition.
Now, I almost feel like an iPhone user...

    Posted via CB10
Frankly, it is worse than an iPhone user. I had to download alternative browsers to be able to access some websites. Some websites that I visit do not white list the BlackBerry browser user agent for their html5 video/mobile content. Additionally, some sites don't even provide an mobile site and require downloading an app (which is only available for Google Play or the Apple App Store). Flash should have been kept for longer until more sites adopt html5 and white list BlackBerry.

Here is a website that previously worked on the browser.

And here is the same website with just the user agent changed to android or iPhone.

Oh ****...this is exactly what I feared!... now we are less than a unique experience as we still were able to access virtually any site before. *weeps for the loss*

You do realize Adobe has left flash mobile to die right? They no longer support it. You think BB should?

Removing flash was a mistake. To those who will say it's dead, it isn't...not yet. It may be being phased out but it is still being used. BlackBerry more than jumped the gun on this one.

    Posted via CB10
Exactly!! Yes, it may be dying off but its not dead yet. There are plenty of sites still on flash. The whole excuse BB gave about Flash being phased out by websites was just a cop out I think. Disappointing! Anyhow, to each their own.

The main thing with no flash is no porn.
I wouldn't know that personally, but that's what I've been told.

Maybe now is a good time to start a non-flash or "streakerless" porn site for the flasher impaired.

The "no porn" thing is not true. Tons of porn with html5 standard...

I wish there was an option to downvote posts :\

But yeah, we have to deal with it, and for me, that means running into this lack-of-flash error multiple times a day!

For school content (University websites and online lab tools) I'm no longer able to do it unless I want to switch to the Android ports or find a desktop computer..

This is becoming more and more of a nuisance than I thought it would be..

Point is that Android and iOS have APPS to compensate for it.
We can get SOME of those Android apps working in BB10 devices, but not all.

    Examples:

I have a VUDU account and used to watch movie previews in my Z10. I cannot anymore. The Android app preview doesn't work.

CNN Live stream : The Android app works fine except I cannot log in with my TV provider.

BlackBerry doesn't want you to play the video link below:

Why? Because people who made cool stuff are all canned now. No more sliders. No more phones that work. It's all Chen-erized now. We need a CEO to save BlackBerry from Chen, the harbinger of death. He'seading BlackBerry to its death.

BlackBerry was making other companies look like a horses *** for not being able to run websites with flash.

I get the whole adobe ended support. Why do I care if they support it or not. Keep it in there. BlackBerry is like well they don't make wheels for my grandmother's wheelchair, screw grandma let her sit in traffic.

Also if other browsers can use flash, and the people who say BlackBerry makes no wrong decisions offer that up as a work around, you're delusional. Good enough for a work around then it's good enough for the BlackBerry browser.

Flash - a-ah - saviour of the universe
    Flash - a-ah - it'll save everyone of us
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
    Flash - a-ah - it's a miracle
Flash - a-ah - king of the impossible
