Am I to stupid to find it or is the degree symbol simply not available in BBOS10.

Come on BlackBerry this is a often used symbol and should be in any OS.

As ZeroBarrier has said, you basically need to copy the degree symbol. And add it into the work predictions.

So when you type a certain word or certain letters it will change that to a degree symbol.

Maybe I'm dense, but I was eagerly looking at this thread as I've been frustrated a few times at the inability to tell simple temperature info in texts. I sort of get the basic idea but don't know how to set up these word substitution work arounds. I haven't even learned how to copy and paste with my Q10 since it hadn't come up much. Is this in settings for device or within the text app?

Tap and hold on what you want to copy, then when the little menu comes up, tap the icon on the left. Then follow the above instructions to add to text prediction/word replacement.

Thank you for this seemingly obvious idea that I hadn't thought of before. Instead I had been keeping my most used emojis in a Remember note.

    (deg) didn't work for me.

    Had to use :deg!
Somehow it depends on what is right in front of it, or something.
    YMMV :-)

If you set "deg" as your trigger word (without quotes) Then "deg" must be the only 3 letters + a space after.

    Example: 54 deg will work
    54deg will not
    54 deg. Will not
