Default Migrate old prev bb device data / info onto new bb10 device? Actual video?

Can we have either our lucky friends within Crackberry team who have the new BB10 Device
and older 9900/9810/9780 etc or Lucky Friends 'Across the POND' in U.K.

Kindly explain / create video if need, how to Migrate old Phone Data onto the New BB10
demo / state the difficiulty or even if it is possible or not.

I dont think being a new platform that blackberry 'RIM' would forget to have a easy transition from older device to new device platform.

It would be a helpful marketing point aswell for us yet unlucky folks.

    Cheers,

For contact: sync your contact to your email account, then when you enter the same email in BB10, it will import your contact
For BBM contact: use the same Blackberry ID in your BB10
For picture, music, and other file, etc: Put it in SD Card (duh?)

There are several "demo" files at the Blackeberry website.

"Device switch" is one of them. As per previous OS's doing a device switch through a PC running Blackberry Desktop Manager or BB10's Blackberry Link appears well supported. I have used Desktop Manager before and it works great.

Apparantly a device switch can now also be done from OS7 to BB10 through the media card.

As long as you're on BBOS6 and up, your desktop manager or the new Link will work for all that. If you're on 5 still, then BBID for some, and manual for the rest.

Use BlackBerry Link or type "Device Switch" into universal search on your current device and use that application to copy your settings to your media card, then follow the instructions.

They are saying on other thread that Blackberry link does have outlook sync nor device switch. Can someone confirm if they are there?

Open BlackBerry, connect your old phone, then follow the instructions.
