I had the last leak, and I did a factory restore because I was really tired with flickering and wifi issues. After restore I found 10.3.1 installed.
Maybe I got official update on passport-img_20150207_193643.png

You do indeed have a software update If I remember correctly SR1565 would be OS 10.3.1.2243

2243/2244 has a software release of 10.3.1.1565, so either Link loaded the wrong thing or it didn't actually get rid of the older OS.

I think that factory reset doesn't restore stock firmware, you need to use link and reinstall factory software.

You need to reload not restore. When you are in link click on your desktop icon in link not on your phones icon select settings and den reload.. phone will switch off and then on again and starts downloading files from internet.. if u are on macbook like me open preferences of link and then select reload this is how you're going to reload the os..

But why I have to try it? I had a problem with latest leak and reset my device to factory settings via link. I was expecting to be back to 10.3.0 but I found that I had 10.3.1 after reset. Thats all!

Reset will just del all the files and settings it doesnot reload your os to back one it just clears your phone of all the data but when you do reload it downloads and reloads the os from BlackBerry servers whichever current os is available for your phone.

Its upto you what u really want and dont forget to backup before reloading in case you want it.. whole new os will be downloaded from site so it might depend on your network if u still not willing to do that then it doesnt matter how many times u perform wipe os will remain same its reloading os which reload os fully

Yes because as I earlier said wipe doesnot reverse your os to which it came first time..

I assume you are on mac as u said earlier.. connect your phone through usb to link open prederences by clicking on link from the top menu bar you will get a popup where u find reload just select that it will ask for confirmation and after that phone will shut down and restart..

Remember phone will not be available for use during this whole procedure..
I clicked a pic for you to better get it...
Maybe I got official update on passport-img_20150208_034640.jpg
