Hi everybody love my z30 been rocking the leak for some time. I was just wondering why the snap app couldn't have been a apk as to eliminate the use of side loading completely. It would make sense as some people just can't get to grips with the concept of side loading from there pcs. Is there a reason why it's a bar file. Thanks

Sorry I'm confused...If it was an apk file wouldn't we have to convert it to bar before sideloading it anyway?

Not necessarily. Remember now that apk files can be downloaded and installed directly onto 10.2.1 via various available Android app stores.

Oh ...that's right! Thanks!! And BlackBerry from what I remember has some type of strict process or rules to get put on BBW.

Unlikely as it provides access to a BBWorld competitor's store. But anything is possible.

As pointed out in a similar thread, the developer wanted a NATIVE app and that would not be possible if it were an apk file. It is not that hard to sideload but the first time might be somewhat intimidating.
