The list of shortcuts tells the M-key is a shortcut to the BlackBerry Hub. When I hold it down nothing happens. Is this the same with everyone?

Strange.... All the others work fine. I can also assign the other keys. Just the Hub M that doesnt work. Is it an OS thing?

I had this problem, as I set the shortcut, and then deleted the Hub icon. You need the Hub homescreen icon to stay installed. Simply reinstall it from BlackBerry World.

Something else must be assigned to the key, else it would ask you if you want to assign the key.
Go to settings->shortcuts and speed dial

Check what you have assigned to M

The M for hub is just the default setup, but you can assign it to anything you want.

My "M" is assigned to Launch Hub. Doesn't work. Not a big deal to me, hub is pretty easy to get to from home without a shortcut.
