When I press the lock button on top of phone why does it not lock the phone right and to enter password? I have password setup? Would be nice to have this lock right away.

Go to your Password settings and set device to lock after 1 minute.

Ya my in set to 1 min but I just like the fact of when you push the lock button it locks right away. Maybe they will add these in future Os updates

Hey, I believe if you hold down the lock button you can then click on a lock icon below before the 3 sec shutdown window. I have tried this and it worked great.

Update: In fact just hold down the lock button and then let go. Then click on the lock icon below. That way you don't have to hurry up before time's up!

It would be nice to have an autolock setting - set a time of 5-0(never) minutes, and instant lock pressing the button.

I don't lock my 9800 for this reason . I don't need it locked when it's sitting on my desk at home for several hours, but I'd like to lock it manually when needed.
