I think this is a quick question and answer.

When I send myself a meeting notice from my Work email to Google email, it adds the event in my BB Q10 as a Local Event and Google Event. Is there a way to prevent this?

I would guess maybe your local calendar is associated with your Work email, and you also have a Google calendar associated with your Google email? So when you send yourself an event, it automatically add the event in your local calendar, and when you receive it on Gmail, it is added to your Google calendar.

Tell me if I understand correctly, but perhaps you would be able to change this in your calendar management on your BlackBerry, top menu, if you remove the association with the calendar you do not want.
